Here’s a sneak peak of things to come from Dynamite Entertainment in 2012!
The Shadow returns to comic stores written by the man born to write him – Garth Ennis. The artist joining Garth will be Aaron Campbell. Featuring covers by fan favorite artists Alex Ross, Howard Chaykin, Jae Lee and John Cassaday. The Shadow #1 his stores in April 2012!
The Spider, one of the greatest pulp characters of all time is now re-launched into the 21st century! Dynamite Entertainment proudly presents The Spider #1, which will hit comic book stores everywhere in May 2012! The series will be written by acclaimed writer David (Black Panther: The Man Without Fear) Liss and drawn by Colton Worley, with covers by Alex Ross, John Cassaday, Francesco Francavilla and Ron Lesser!
Capitalizing on the success of Vampirella, comes the launch of Pantha in June 2012! First appearing in Vampirella #30, this ally of Vampirella is an ancient Egyptian cursed to live forever by the gods because of a killing spree she went on in ancient times. Dynamite Entertainment proudly presents Pantha #1, which will be written by Brandon Jerwa and drawn by Pow Rodrix, with covers by Mark Texiera and Sean Chen!
Dynamite is proud to announce our first major cross-over (self-contained) event, Prophecy! In 2012, the Mayan doomsday prophecy is coming to pass, and the end of the world makes for strange allies. Dynamite has had incredible critical and commercial success with Warlord of Mars, Warlord of Mars: Dejah Thoris, and Warlord of Mars: Fall of Barsoom series. Now comes Dejah Thoris and the White Apes of Mars #1! Dejah Thoris and the White Apes of Mars is written by Mark Rahner and drawn by Lui Antonio, with covers by Brandon Peterson and Alé Garza and will hit comic stores in April 2012!
After experiencing great success with Voltron #1, Dynamite Entertainment is bringing back the iconic Defender of the Universe in an all-new adventure! Written by Brandon Thomas, illustrated by Craig Cermak, with covers by Admira Wijaya and Jonathan Lau, Voltron: Year One will be released wherever comic books are sold beginning April 2012.
And this is just the FIRST HALF of the year! It’s going to be a GREAT 2012!
