According to Variety, Gavin O’Connor is in talks to direct the movie that looks at Peter Pan and Captain Hook and how they came to become mortal enemies.
Tatum, Carolin and Eric Bromberg came up with the idea and brought it to Roth Films and scribe Billy Ray for the group to develop as a pitch, which Ray subsequently sold to Sony. O’Connor will oversee the next draft of the script.
Joe Roth, who has two other fairy tale movies under his belt (Alice in Wonderland, and Snow White and the Huntsman) is producing under the Roth Films banner.
