This June, Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli are planning something that will “make history for the Marvel Universe.”
Interestingly, this is the same creative team that is working on Ultimate Spider-Man, so we are either going to A) See the return of Peter Parker from the Ultimate (Comics) Universe, B) See the 616 Peter Parker cross over into the Marvel U, C) See Miles Morales enter the 616 Universe, or D) See something we’ve never seen before, and it will take us totally by surprise.
My money is on A.

I hope for D.
Me too, Matthew, although, in all honesty, only A would truly piss me off.
One of those silhouettes is muscled like a lithe adult (Peter), and the other is vaguely fit teenager-esque (Miles). SOoooooooooOooooo… Maybe that’ll help? (i.e., it’s not “another clone” in the regular Marvel U., at least.) The Ultimate/Regular crossover would be neato, but.. Didn’t they kinda imply they weren’t going to do that sort of thing, outside the Marvel Zombieverse? (I could be wrong on this latter point; I really don’t have any sources to cite beyond “observation”.)
I think a cross over would be too cliche… I think bringing Peter Parker back from the dead in the Ultimate Universe probably won’t happen (since everyone that has died, stayed dead)… I think it’s very possible that another person get’s bitten by ANOTHER one of Oscorp’s Spiders… creating another Spider-Man with no relation to Miles… There is such a high possibility of this since all of the Oscorp’s Spiders are numbered.
“(since everyone that has died, stayed dead)”
not true. Prof X is back, Thor came back, and if i’m not mistaken Magneto is back now too…..
Sure as hell looked like Magneto at least ;)
Or it turns out that Peter Parker has been a brainwashed servant of Mephisto all along, and he finally reveals his true loyalty causing Reed Richards and other heroes to go back in time to collect a freshly-bitten 16-year-old Peter who hasn’t fallen under Mephisto’s spell yet so he can fight and/or deprogram the adult Peter, only it ends up with lots of heroes dying and being resurrected in a goldfish bowl by Franklin Richards, leading to the spinoff universe where Marvel’s top heroes are fish (to be nicknamed the “Nemo-verse”). That’ll last for a year or two until the bowl gets knocked over and Franklin has to bring them all back to the real universe, with their memories of being fish both intact and somehow suppressed and irrelevant.
Oh, and as a twist, Mysterio will join the heroes and die with them, appearing as a bubbling deep-sea diver in the Nemo-verse, and once returned to the main universe, he’ll give up wearing fishbowls on his head forever.
Dammit! Who leaked the plot?
Clones!
Dead means dead in the Ultimate Unicerse.
But… What if I never died to begin with?
