One of the best villains in Image Comics’ The Walking Dead is The Governor, and in the upcoming third season of the AMC series, David Morrissey has been cast in the role.

I’m excited to see how they handle this story line in the series.
Still no Michonne, so that bit may be left out (and it may be more than a bit too graphic, even for this series and AMC). Still no prison, so nothing for the Governor to want to take from Rick’s group (yet).
If they stay at least near the story in the comics, it may be that we don’t even see Mr. Morrisey until or after the midway point of Season Three.
