Fans of Vivid Entertainment, and those who are just waiting to see how far the adult film parody can go before a company steps in and tries to put a stop to it, can now check out Axel Braun’s Star Wars XXX, which is available online today.
The company has done everything it can to say that this is a parody, and thus protected, but when the biggest money making franchise meets hot steamy love, there just might be a few things said before the DVD is arrives next week.
So what could prompt this parody being made?
“‘Star Wars XXX’ is destined to be the best selling adult parody ever,” said Steven Hirsch, founder/co-chairman of Vivid. “Our first teaser on YouTube has already been viewed by over a million people, and we expect an even larger viewership for the new trailer. This far surpasses even our Batman XXX: a Porn Parody trailer. We’ve incorporated an incredible array of special effects into this movie and it is by far our most expensive and elaborate production. Axel is a master at his craft and he definitely hit it out of the park on this one.”
Exactly.
The re-imagined Luke Skywalker of Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody is anything but the savior of the galaxy; he’s nervous, immature and has never seen a naked woman in his life. Han Solo was a scoundrel in the original; in the parody he’s become an actual felon. Obi-Wan Kenobi is portrayed as a relentless drunk, more interested in finding his next bottle and ridding himself of the petulant Luke than in rescuing Princess Leia, who appears as a militant feminist, whose only use for men is as pawns on her game board. Darth Vader is the goofy villain in scary, black armor; C-3PO is every bit the metrosexual droid we always thought he was; and R2D2 has the foulest mouth in the galaxy. The plot parodies the story of Episode IV but with hilarious and sex filled twists on the way to the ultimate Death Star battle.
With the success of Batman XXX, Justice League XXX, and the rest of the porn parody titles targeted toward the pop culture fans, I expect this movie will indeed be the biggest adult film seller of all time.
