Who would have thought the first week of 2012 would be filled with so much news? It’s been a busy week, and here’s a look back at the hot topics.
- The Tick Tock Men get together and bring back their 30 Day Writing Challenge, and their sharing bits and pieces on Major Spoilers
- Akira gets delayed… again.
- There were plenty of reviews from nearly all the publishers, including The Goon, The Boys, The Outcast, and The Defenders. Of course there were other reviews that didn’t have a big THE in the title like Fatale from Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips, and All-Star Western by Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray.
- The nominations for the 2012 Eagle Awards are now open, and you can nominate Major Spoilers!
- Axe is going to make a comic book. Yes… that Axe.
- LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes officially announced
- On the Major Spoilers Podcast, Matthew, Stephen, and Rob took a look at the Best and Worst of 2011, and made predictions for 2012.
- Steve Jobs gets and action figure, and the tech world spins on the news
- Did you know her name was Pandora? It’s true
What will the new week bring? Be sure to check back often (and by often we mean a couple of times an hour, each and every day).

Woooo, what a week.
The horses has surely left the boxes.
Is Pandora, Peter David’s Dark angel or whatever it was?

Fallen Angel? Well, I kind of doubt it. That character is creator owned, for one, and last appeared from IDW, and I don’t recall PAD being involved in the DC relaunch… Visually similar, in some ways, though there are limited ways to draw “girl in big ol’ hooded cloak.”
So, I wonder if All-Star Westerns means I’ll finally get the new Dean Martin and Bob Hope serieses I have been waiting forever for!
