Radio controlled cars are awesome as they weave and zip down the street to their imminent destruction. Now that mayhem and destruction happens even faster with a R/C car that does 100 miles per hour, right out of the box.
The Traxxas’ 1/7-scale XO-1 will do 100 MPH in 4.92 seconds. And I should point out that the speed is really 100 miles per hour, and not a scaled version of 100 miles per hour, which means you are going to need some space to get up to at least 88 MPH.
I’m pretty sure I would crash this thing into the wall in the first hour of playing with it, but if you have someone in your life that loves the radio controlled cars (and you have $1,000 to spend), the Traxxas XO-1 would look pretty sweet sitting under the tree.
