When you get to the San Diego Comic Con this year (you are going aren’t you?), then you’ll want to grab the official San Diego Comic-Con Souvenir Book with cover art by Jim Lee.
For those of us who aren’t going, take the jump for a look at the new Justice League.
Comics fans around the world have been buzzing about the big changes coming to DC Comics in September. And while part of that big news has been the relaunch of Justice League by Geoff Johns and Jim Lee, there have been few pieces of art revealing the JL line-up. Well, hang onto your hats ladies and gentlemen, because here’s the exclusive Jim Lee cover to this year’s Comic-Con International Souvenir Book! Jim pencilled this mind-blowing image just for the attendees at SDCC 2011. It’s inked by superstar inker Scott Williams and colored by that master of the color palette, Alex Sinclair. And remember, the Souvenir Book — which is a massive 192 full-color pages once again — is given free to every attendee (while supplies last). You’ll want to take this keepsake edition home to save and savor again and again!

What’s with Aquaman’s hippy sideburns?
you know… he’s got the ‘chops to be on this team…
I think they’re kinda hot, actually.
And look… the Wonder Pants are back (which I personally prefer over the bikini bottoms on this modified costume design)!!
That’s not Green Lantern!!
All joking aside, the redesigns are excellent (even the side burns). I like how WW has been given a costume that is elegant yet decidedly feminine. And I especially appreciate that these redesigns have been essentially to remove the trunks.
SUPERSTAR INKER Scott Williams! The Harry Potter permier twitter chatter has been completely outshined today by people talking about that superstar inker. It’s like WB is in a publicity race against itself.
Ick. Won’t be buying any of this dreck.
I’m not sure these six figures could possibly share the same physical space: Cyborg is on a collision course with Superman, Aquaman looks like he’s diving off a cliff, Flash is…flying??? And unless Batman is using his bat-gliders, Green Lantern can’t be more than 2 inches off the ground.
Come on, it looks like those magazine promos for movies where the figures were obviously photographed separately and photoshopped into the same picture…..
@Brainypirate-y’know, it IS a drawing.
No, it’s a teaser advertisement by the new artist–the one we’re all supposed to be thrilled to see on such an important book….
