Unless it is a bloody, over the top mess, we rarely see hard-R rated movies in theaters these days. And it is even harder to find a top name producer/director attached to those films. This is why news over a R-rated live action/CGI Robert Zemeckis produced film caught our attention today.
According to Variety, Zemeckis will oversee an adaptation of How to Survive a Garden Gnome Attack from Chuck Sambuchino. The book is a humorous survival guide for those who are around during the Garden Gnome apocalypse.
No word if Zemeckis will direct the film, and considering Mars Needs Moms tanked at the box office, and Yellow Submarine was torpedoed by Disney, he may decide to sit behind a desk for a while.
