Sean McKeever and Mike Norton brings Fear Itself to the Marvel heroes-in-training in Fear Itself: Youth in Revolt.
“With YOUTH IN REVOLT, we’re taking a look at how a palpable sense of fear and despair can affect the younger generation of heroes,” said McKeever to Marvel.com. “In the first issue, they’re deputized by the federal government in anticipation of terrible things to come, but what then? When they’re rushed into action without any strategy, who suffers? When things get out of hand, who will step up and who will crumble? And how well can they stand up to their own fears?”
The initiative trainees step up to the plate in May in Fear Itself: Youth in Revolt #1. The issue has a $2.99 cover price.

Tie-in or not I’m excited to see Hardball and Komodo return
Agreed. I really enjoyed a lot of the characters to come out of Initiative.
Hmmm. I guess it shows my ignorance in this area in that I have absolutely no idea of who those characters are with the exception of Firestar.
From Avengers Initiative, guy in white is Gravity, Thor Girl is pretty obvious which one she is, Cloud 9 is in the back with the dumb helmet, Komodo is the lizard girl, Hardball is in the red and yellow, Ultra Girl is in the Orange and green.
Did they retcon Firestar as a youngster again, or is she supposed to be the “mentor” of this group?
Someone please flog the person who thought that what Cloud 9 is wearing is a good costume.
Also didn’t Thor Girl die or get de-powered?
I’m happy to see the Avengers: Initiative kids back again, I really missed them. On a similar note I’m happy to see they aren’t trying to throw them together with the Avengers Academy kids.
