He has a show on Discovery Science Channel called Sci-fi science. There is an entire episode dedicated to a time machine. The end result wasn’t nearly as satisfying as I would have liked, but it is fun to watch.
Timecrimes. One of the best time travel movies, and almost nobody has seen it. That’s all I’m saying.
It did make my list of the best time travel movies… you might want to look around the site to find it…
I did a research paper on Time Travel which focused on Ronald Mallett’s work. He’s been working on time travel for a while and there was a special about him on TLC called The World’s First TIme Machine. Check it out.
It’s funny you mention Kaku. Almost every book I found on the physics of time travel was written by him or it had his commentary. I guess he’s like the time travel guy.
He is our version of Einstein. Complete rock-star scientist.
I hope you guys will address the weirdness of Marty’s great-great grandmother on his father’s side looking exactly like the girl his dad marries… that must be a small town
Could it be!? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6a4T2tJaSU
I was going to mention how timely this discussion is as right now one of the most popular viral videos in youtube is the one referred to by Dboy Mugg!
Also check out the one about the guy who crawls under his kitchen sink and meets himself in the future … guessing he got a good whiff of some fumes … or something …
Two possible answers to this
1) Hearing aid
2) A great gimmick to get people talking about the Charlie Chaplin DVD collection release, and then getting them to rush out to buy it to “see for themselves”.
