A few weeks ago, we teased you with some early images of Kotobukiya’s Batgirl Bishoujo statue. Today, we have more images and information on the statue that arrives in December.
The statue stands 9-inches tall, and falls in the 1/7th scale category. It’s not a limited edition statue, so there should be plenty to go around, all you need to do is pony up $59.99.

Saw this in Previews and instantly wanted it. I may well end up treating myself around Christmas time.
Not enough skin. I though superheroines were required to wear butt-floss leotards with open midriffs and plunging necklines. With this costume, Batgirl might as well be a man in drag! (Come to think of it, ONLY a drag queen would think those heels were practical for jumping around rooftops….)
Oops–thought, not though. I was distracted by the absence of bare skin….
Don’t fret. Actually, it’s mostly body paint. Spandex doesn’t move like that.

It looks gorgeous. You know what a brilliant idea is, lets take already beautiful characters from American comics and turn them into asian women. That is the kind of forward thinking that I like to see people! I think to myself every day, “Man (insert female character) sure is pretty, too bad we couldn’t see her as an Asian woman in tights” and then BOOM! we got it. Give a dollar to those guys.
