One of the odd movies that I really dug as a nerdy high school science student was My Science Project, released under the Touchstone Pictures banner. The 1985 sci-fi flick featured Michael (John Stockwell) and Ellie (Danielle von Zerneck) breaking into a military junkyard to find something for their school science experiment. When they fall through a fall out shelter, they find the engine to a UFO that was hidden there since the 1950s. One thing leads to another, and the duo, along with spaz Vince (Fisher Stevens) and science teacher Dennis Hopper end up turning the thing on. The device ends up bringing past, present, and future together into wacky hijinx.
Yeah, it was 1985. Still, this clip has me wondering if My Science Project is available via NetFlix.

Yes, and please do your nostalgia a favor and don’t view it. It hasn’t aged well sadly.
