Great podcast as always and daredevil 2/ remake will be better if they follow frank miller born again or have him help make it . Ghostrider don’t interest me too much even with fact that the comics have improved over the years . Heroes is really back on point and i still love it good or bad im staying on it. Freddy look weird too me in the need trailer but im a horror fan and will go to see it he does look like a real burned victim .
Why is it powergirl gets her own book and it sucks but supergirl gets a new book and it is great .
Powergirl’s title rocks.

*I* much prefer Power Girl’s title to Supergirl’s.
They’re right, untill New Krypton Supergirl wasn’t all that good a comic, heck one of the first things that happened in the New Krypton storyline was that they retconned most of what had happened to Supergirl prior to that arc.
Powergirl is enjoyable because we finaly see her as Kara Starr again and Terra shows up from time to time.
Nice Tenacious D reference. I liked the discussion. Nice to have one of those every once in a while in place of a TPB discussion/review.
In regards to the whole Daredevil vs. Ghost Rider sequel deal: I love Ghost Rider, I think he is a wonderful character and the dichotomy between the Rider and Johnny Blaze is what makes the character so wonderful, even moreso I think Johnny Blaze as a character himself is great… that said, Nicholas Cage is not Johnny Blaze. Mathew made the comment that this is more the Danny Ketch Rider, which is fine but to me Nic Cage was the worst possible choice for the role, not because he’s not a perfectly fine actor, it’s just that Nic Cage acts like Nic Cage, all of his movies has the same character, and that character is not Ghost Rider. Because of this, I was turned off by the movie, sure the effects were fine and the story was enough to string the effects together in a decent way, but Cage made it come off as crap. While DareDevil may not be an oscar-calibur movie, Aflec was at least believable in the role, at least to the point of not detracting.
So I chose Daredevil, just because while I would love to see a good Ghost Rider movie, I’m not interested in anything that involves Nic Cage.
Great podcat as always, so Stephen is the Daredevil movie a reboot or a sequel after all? Your “Another Daredevil movie on the way, too” called it a reboot not a sequel so I’m wondering.
This podcast reminded me of a discussion I once had: is science a religion? Strangely enough I said yes, I mean only a handful (lets call them the chosen)have been to outerspace and seen that yes, the Earth is round, only some “cardinals” of science have seen electrons and so on… alot of thing we consider “fact” are based on our believe that what scientists tell us is right.
Science is a religious system in the sense that most agree that matter is made of atoms, atoms of electrons, protons and neutrons even thou very few have seen them or understand how that works. We place our “faith” in the people who we believe are closer to the “truth”, but instead of priests or monks we call them scientists.
