Yogi Bear is the latest in an seemingly endless stream of movies that will mesh live action with CGI characters ala Scooby-Doo. Eric Brevig is directing the script written by Joshua Sternin and Jeffrey Ventimilia based on the Hanna-Barbera series from the 1960’s.  As you might expect Yogi and side-kick Boo Boo will menace Jellystone Park and Ranger Smith in the search for picnic baskets. Expect a bunch of silliness when the movie hits December 17, 2010.

Does anyone remember the bit in The Simpsons where Homer dreamed he was Yogi and then proceeded to maul Ranger Ned?
