Well Firestorm did die during Identity Crisis, isn’t he basically all powerfull? Shouldn’t a Firestorm without a conscience be unstopable?
Why is Ronnie wearing the new Firestorm’s headgear? Ronnie’s was flat all around the top.

Ummm… did Ronnie even leave a body? I was under the impression that, when he went blammo in the upper atmosphere, there weren’t even ashes left behind.

I would also enjoy it, if they picked more non-powered people- more Sue Dibnys, and such. The ring should have some power no? so we dont need only super heroes/villains to wear them. I’d like it if people that were either killed by villains or died b/c of a hero’s mistake to come back…
The Ronnie “Black Lantern” Firestorm may look like he is wearing new Firestorm’s headgear, but I think it’s just the “V” design that is on most of the Black Lanterns forehead that Black Hand has on his uniform. If you look closely at E2 Superman, Martian Manhunter and possibly Aquaman.
It seems like the odds of in favor of the Black Lanterns when it comes to power, similar to the overwhelming odds seen in Sinestro corps of the unveiling of the Anti-monitor, Hank Henshaw, SBP, Parallax,etc. I think it will take all of the DCU and the colored lantern corps to combat the Black lanterns.
I’m interested in seeing where this goes and the execution of it. I read an interview with Johns at another website that the Black Lanterns would not be mindless, but calculating and a threat. So, I think they will be able to think, which is positive. The whole zombie thing with them just grunting and wanting brains gets kind of old. It should be interesting to see what happens.

Those Phunky Bracelets seem to be present in this and the Martian Manhunter’s pic, so I wonder if everybody is going to get crazy wrist jewelry…
