He may be 54 years old, but Bruce Willis can still kick it as an action hero, and it looks like he’s going to take his rugged good looks to another comic book movie adaptation.
In “Red,†Willis would portray a former black-ops agent who has gone into retirement but is forced back into action when a high-tech assassin comes a-callin’ to threaten him and his girlfriend. Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian are producing, and Erich and Jon Hoeber are writing the screenplay, which is based on the WildStorm/DC Comic. (DC’s Gregory Noveck is exec producing.)
I’ve not read the comic book, but man it sounds exactly like every other action movie from back in the day.  On the other hand, I’m always in favor of more comic book movies, as it gives me hope eventually H’wood will come knocking on my door to find out more about that Kung-Fu Zombie Western I’m working on.

yes, Red is awesome and Willis fits the role perfectly.
That is one bloody violent book, so I wonder how much they’re going to tone it down. Also there’s not that much story so, what am I saying, that won’t stop them.
what, there’s a story in hollywood movies?
