    JLA Movie Closer Than We Think?

    Ain’t It Cool News has a very interesting rumor regarding a possible JLA movie.

    As I was taking the Amtrak Surfliner down to San Diego for the ‘Con yesterday, I happened to look across the aisle and spotted a gentleman reading a script. It was some sort of JUSTICE LEAGUE project. Live or animated, I do not know.

    I know that Superman, Batman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Jon Stewart all appear in the script.

    Maxwell Lord, OMAC, and someone named Talia (Al Ghul?) all appear. One of the OMACs is referred to as “Beta”, so the story may involve the start of the OMAC project.

    Well we know a JLA live action movie has been in the works, but the big hold up has been getting the other movies, like Flash and Wonder Woman, done first. If the studios are moving ahead with this, it is really good news – but it wouldn’t surprise me if the script the spy saw was mearly an animated movie.

      I don’t know what to think about this. I don’t think its a live action one, or else Batman wouldn’t be there. I just don’t see them taking him away from the Begins/Dark Knight world for a while. Maybes around film 4 or something. He’s too big of a franchise on his own and any project like this would dilute the character. I’m all for a Justice League film mind you! And even more for a Teen Titans one or the Green Arrow script by Goyer!
