Look closely at the shot of Joker talking to Catwoman. what’s he holding in his Left hand? A Bomb? A Tracer?
This could mean that Holly is a traitor, and the J-Boy is manipulating her…and also that he’s not the real one (he looks nothing like the way he does in Morrisn’s run), and so it would justify Martian manhunter finding out and killing him – hence the bloody knife!
The thing in his left hand would be a joy buzzer – a harmless prank, but in the Joker’s hands, who knows. It could be lethal – hence MM reason for the knife. And who says that is Holly under the mask? And god help us if the Morrison run Joker is the real deal. I much prefer what Dini has done with Mr. J in Detective.
SS: I particularly like the t-shirt and jeans look of the most recent Joker. I love the purple suits and clown costumes, but it’s nice to see the Joker rob a Hot Topic once in a while.
I’m just irritated that this seems to giveaway the lineup of the post-Nightwing Outsiders, something that we’re supposed to still be wondering about…

This makes me wonder what becomes of Nightwing and why Batman decides not to include him in the new team. I’m also very excited at the prospect of Batman and Catwoman being teammates.
