Marking one of the biggest publishing events in Dark Horse Comics’ twenty-year history, Roald Dahl’s Gremlins will be released this year for the first time since the 1940s. In conjunction with the book’s reemergence and the debut of an all-new original Gremlins comic book, Dark Horse Deluxe will release several collectible vinyl and PVC figures.
Working side by side with Disney Consumer Products and Gentle Giant Studios, Dark Horse Deluxe will kick off the Gremlins products line with the release of a two-pack of vinyl figures. Standing seven inches tall, “Gremlin Gus” and “Fifinella,” the main male and female characters from the book, will be packaged in one set. Crafted with the most precise attention, both figures exactly mimic the mischievous, animated antics of the book’s characters.
In addition, Dark Horse Deluxe will simultaneously release nine Gremlins PVC figures in three sets. These impish figures are pictured doing everything that Gremlins do best: sawing, drilling, carving, hammering and overall mischief making.
The Gremlins PVC sets will arrive on sale on November 29, 2006 for $14.99. The Gremlins vinyl figure two-pack will follow on January 24, 2007 with a retail price of $34.99.
