Top Cow/Moore Statues Selling Fast!
Top Cow Productions, Inc. in conjunction with CS Moore Studio is pleased to announce that all 500 units of the Aphrodite IX Statue Artist Proof edition have sold out from the manufacturer. The statue is a new Artist Proof of the incredibly popular original Aphrodite IX statue released several years ago. It features a brand new paint scheme, new base, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The certificate will come with an original sketch by Marc Silvestri and will be signed by both Silvestri and the sculptor, Clayburn S. Moore.
“We’ve been incredibly pleased with the response from fans and our distributors with the Aphrodite IX artist proof. Even with the production run increased from 350 to 500 copies we still sold out immediately,” commented Clayburn S. Moore.
“We still have fans come up to us at conventions on a regular basis asking how they can get the original Aphrodite IX statue, so we knew the demand for this cool new edition was going to be intense. We couldn’t be happier with the response,” said Filip Sablik, Vice President of Marketing & Sales for Top Cow.
In addition, Top Cow Productions Inc. and Clayburn S. Moore are also pleased to announce a second release with the Witchblade “School Girl” Statue. This highly anticipated release is based on the classic Marc Silvestri image and is featured in the October, 2006 Previews. “We expect this to be one of our top selling statues of the year,” remarked Chris Schaff, Domestic Toy Brand Manager, “I’d be willing to bet we’ll be looking at another instant sellout.”
