Like him or not, Tom Cruise doesn’t generally make bad movies. His flicks are slick productions, designed to be Tom Cruise vehicles. Oblivion, Cruise’s return to sci-fi, is no different, but is it any good?

REVIEW: Avenging Spider-Man #19
It’s kind of funny…Ock-Spidey has, for me anyways, been more appealing in books where the character teams with the rest of the Marvel U. than in his own title. Cross this opinion with the return of one of Marvel’s cult-hit-heroes and you have a book that could very well reek of awesomeness or put you to sleep. Check out the Major Spoilers review of Avenging Spider-Man #19…
REVIEW: Saga #12
Amid a spot of controversy, Saga #12 by Brian K. Vaughn and Fiona Staples makes its way to shelves. Does it live up to the hullabaloo? Here! Have a review!
REVIEW: The Black Beetle – No Way Out #3
The Black Beetle’s seen a lot of crazy stuff in the course of his latest case, but can he handle a man coming back from beyond? While we start off with our hero scoping out a jazz club and chatting up a female crooner, things quickly turn to action in the penultimate issue of this arc.
REVIEW: Constantine #2
Or – “Can They Make Me Forget About The Hellblazer?”
The first issue of John Constantine’s new ongoing did a lot to assuage the pain of losing Hellblazer after a quarter-decade. Will #2 keep up the streak? Your Major Spoilers review awaits!
REVIEW: Avengers #9
Or – “Clearly NOT The World Outside Your Window!”
The Avengers were re-assembled in a bigger and better form, just in time to combat the menace of Ex Nihilo. Their first battle ended inconclusively, but a mysterious “Blackveil” made his way to Earth. Now, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes have discovered that “Blackveil” has another name: NIghtmask. And a second (insanely powerful) superhuman known as a Starbrand has made things even more complicated… It’s a brave new world, with an old New Universe, but will the Avengers survive? Your Major Spoilers review awaits!
REVIEW: Fearless Defenders #3
Or – “An Interesting Start For A New Book…”
A couple of years ago, Marvel put out a book called “Girl Comics,” which featured some of their most recognizable female characters put together by female creators. While it was a step in the right direction, there were some great flaws in the execution. This book, while still featuring mostly male creators, features three of Marvel’s most interesting female charactors working together. Will this issue impress as much as the previous two? Your Major Spoilers review awaits!
REVIEW: Batgirl #19
Or – “In Honor Of Two-Face, It’s A Double-Dose Of Bats…”
There has been a lot of talk on the internet about the events of the latest issue of Gail Simone’s Batgirl title. What’s all the rumbling about? Your Major Spoilers review awaits!
REVIEW: Batman And Robin #19
Or – “Those Klingon Bastards Killed My Son!”
The loss of Damian Wayne has been a devastating blow for Batman and his extended family, especially coming immediately after their estrangement thanks to the labyrinthine lunacy of The Joker. Faced with the loss of his son, how far will The Batman go? And is he trying to avenge his boy, or something even more disturbing? Your Major Spoilers review awaits!
REVIEW: Uber #0
Uber #0 is Kieron Gillen and Canaan White’s latest offering for Avatar Press. Can this story about Nazi supersoldiers in the waning days of the Third Reich live up to one critic’s expectations?
REVIEW: Earth-2 #11
Welcome to Earth 2, a new universe where old Golden Age heroes are revamped for the modern era. Over the past ten issues, DC Comics has gradually reintroduced classic heroes and villains into this universe. Without Superman, Batman or Wonder Woman to look after them, these superheroes have branched out on their own. However, with the return of Steppenwolf, do they have the strength to take on Apokolips?
REVIEW: Thanos Rising #1 (of 5)
Or – “Hey, It’s That Guy From The Credits!”
With a certain purple-skinned Eternal getting some high-profile attention, it was pretty much inevitable that we’d get to see more of his adventures. What I didn’t expect was for them to expand his backstory to provide a psychological reason for his demented brand of evil. The question is, does it work? Your Major Spoilers review awaits!
