According to Bloody Disgusting, Stephen Susco has been tapped to write the live-action adaptation of Tim Seeley’s HACK/Slash comic book series. The focus of the series is on a horror victim, Cassie, who strikes back at the monsters, known as “slashers”, with Vlad, a freakish man who frequently wears a gas mask. Susco is no stranger to horror films, as he is also writing The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D movie and Butcherhouse Chronicles for Paramount Pictures.  HACK/Slash  is being directed by Fredrik Bond.  While all of this is well and good, the big question is, “who will play Cassie Hack?” …

If you make it a habit to read USA Weekend, you may have seen the interview with Chuck star Zachary Levi, who said he had been cast as Fandral in the upcoming Thor movie to be directed by Kenneth Branagh.  Unfortunately, NBC extended the third season, which means Zach had to drop out of the flick.
