I planned to have plans to attend Denver Comic Con, but vacation requests preceding my own request basically scuttled that. Booger.
Would I like to? Yes. Do I have actual plans? No. I’m kinda hoping someone will either invite me along or I’ll come in to enough money to afford being able to go, but otherwise I’m stuck being too broke to even be able to rent a movie, let alone going to a comic convention.
Maybe next year.
I’m headed to my first real Con this year at age 34. My wife made the suggestion after we had fun at the terrible local thing we can’t rightly consider a convention. We’re headed to Wizard World Chicago in August.
Thats the one I’d be most likely to attend if I did get to go since it isn’t that far from me. In case I do manage to attend, if you see a blonde girl in a wheelchair with Decepticon emblems, it’ll probably be me, so feel free to say hi.
My wife and I go to Dragon*Con every year. It’s a lot of fun, though it’s almost getting too big.
Ottawa’s Comic Con happened 2 weekends ago and it was a blast!
I met Felicia Day and Wil Wheaton and both made a Munchkin card for me.
I met LeVar Burton while wearing a Reading Rainbow T-Shirt which he appreciated.
The con was well organized, attended and everyone seemed to have a fun time.
I hope everyone who will attend a con this season has a great time.
Sorry Batman, but some of us have to work.
Between lack of money & time and the fact that the Philadelphia-area cons aren’t so great, I gotta say Sad Batman… I mean, no.
As a Magic judge, I end up going to a couple cons for that, but it means I don’t have enough vacation time left for doing other cons. Maybe some year. If I ever get more free time.
I voted no. Planet Comiccon happened in April, and that is the only Con I attend
Sadly, no. Between the kids, the job, the house, the lack of funds, just not enough in the tank to get out to one. Being in Wisconsin, I wouldn’t mind making it down to Wizard World Chicago.
Really, I’d love to make it out to Nerdtacular And Emerald City one of these years.
sadly no. despite boston comic con being bumped up to august, after being cancelled due to the…unpleasantness back in april. truly, feels batman :(
Plans work out, I should be going to West Virginia Pop Con come August.
I usually go to three cons metro con (Tampa), megacon(Orlando), and expcon(saint Augustine) all based in Florida.
I already attended Emerald City Comic Con earlier this spring. Just the right size… not too big… not too small…
Yes. Dublin gets it’s first con in August, so I will definitely be there!!!
I just went to the Maine Comic Arts Fest last weekend. It was a blast!
Going to New York City Comic Con in October. Now I just need to figure out a good costume.
