I really like the alternate history/universe/what-if universes where creators take the heroes we know and put them into a different time and setting.  Previously, Denis Medri gave us a look at Rockabilly Batman, and now the artist takes a spin with Spider-Man and puts him in a steampunk world.

    The frightening thing is that this concept could work! Young Peter Parquer, a struggling young student studying art in Paris, is hired to muck out Mademe Curie’s lab, where he is bitten by a spider that had accidently been irradiated by poorly-stored radium used in Ms Curie’s experiments. He awakens to find he has the proportional strength and agility of a spider, though the six extra eyes in the back of his head are a bit of an annoyance…
