I’m not familiar with Neil Gaiman’s Coraline story, but apparently there’s a stop-motion 3D movie coming out based on it.
I really don’t know what to think about trailers for comic books that companies put out.  On the one hand, I dig what people are doing with After Effects and 3D packages – something I’m very familiar with – but on the other, it’s a trailer…for a comic book… without a lot (if any) animation. Man, I don’t know what the movie studios and book stores are going to do when the final Harry Potter movie arrives. Book stores have already seen a drop in overall revenue following the Deathly Hallows release, and while I doubt the movie theaters will suffer the same fate, knowing you won’t be raking in the bucks each holiday season has got to smart. There’s lots of discussion going around that the Incredible Hulk might be the big bad the Avengers must go up against in the Avengers moving currently in pre-production. Sounds an awful lot like the first Ultimates, but seeing how Nick Fury is Sam-Mutha-F’in-Jackson in Iron Man, it seems like a given the Avengers movie is heading toward Ultimates territory. Seems like we’ll never go a season without some form of Batman or Justice League cartoon available for fans. The next outing for Warner Bros.
