Today I get word from Neil Jackson (via is MySpace page), that New Line is still behind the series and is currently shopping it around to be picked up by another outlet. FX? SciFi? G4? According to the Hollywood Reporter, Beau Garrett and Andre Braugher have been cast in Tim Story’s Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Garrett will play Frankie Raye, while Braugher is cast as a general in charge of capturing the Silver Surfer. Fans of the HBO series Entourage will recognize Garrett from season one as the girlfriend who connect the guys with her sherpa. Frankie Raye originally appeared as the Human Torch’s girlfriend, but became Nova when she volunteered to be the Herald of Galactus.
