After taking a hiatus from all things fandom he has returned to the Major Spoilers fold. Last time we visited the world of Irredeemable, we reviewed the trade paperback which collected the first four issues of this series. The trade followed that world’s greatest hero, The Plutonian, after he has decided that he has had enough of what he sees as an ungrateful world. Since then, there have been some developments in the Irredeemable world, and our beleaguered heroes still do not seem to have much hope.

It seems like just a few days ago that I was surprised in my local comic shop by the first issue of DC Comics Red Tornado mini-series. At the time, I was pleased with the pacing that the issue had and the cinematic feel that the creative team had accomplished. With this second issue, I eagerly awaited more of the same. The spaghetti western is solid cinematic genre that carries with it a particular set of defining elements. The heroes of the Red Circle march on as DC Comics’ second series based on the recently re-introduced Archie heroes debuts with The Web!
