While San Diego Comic Con has been a blast while happening the last few days, it wasn’t the only event of the weekend. PAX Australia also happened this weekend, and Wizards of the Coast had a Magic: the Gathering panel down under. We have a number of spoilers for upcoming releases that weren’t discussed yesterday after the jump.
Guardians of the Galaxy has gotten a lot of attention weekend. Now, a number of pics showing off the costuming for Starlord, Nova, and one or two other characters have been seen. Take the jump for a look and then figure out who belongs to what.
Hasbro set up a huge diorama with their Marvel action figures a their booth. There were even a few figures custom made for the booth, including Devil Dinosaur and the Purple Man. Check out the scene, along with some more traditional displays, after the jump.
Hot Toys had more than one series on display this weekend. This time we have some figures from Iron Man 3. Their is a trio of armor after the jump.
Hot Toys has a few series on display at SDCC. One of which is a fantastic looking set of Batman and Robin along with the Batmobile from the classic show. Take the jump for a look.

Image comic Clone, from Robert Kirkman’s own Skybound Imprint, is being developed by NBC Universal for television. Written by David Schulner and illustrated by Juan Jose Ryp and Felix Serrano, Clone tells the story of Dr. Luke Taylor, who discovers that because of experiments performed by his estranged father, there are many genetic copies of himself — and they want his wife and unborn daughter. Schulner will write the pilot script and serve as executive producer alongside Kirkman and “The Walking Dead’s” David Alpert and David Engel. Clone marks the fourth television deal for Kirkman and Skybound, following AMC’s hit…
A new trailer for Lego Marvel Super Heroes has been released. This one focuses on the giant sized mini-figs like Hulk and The Thing, amongst some surprising others. The game will be available for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii U, PC, Nintendo DS, 3DS, and Playstation Vita later this year, but you can see the trailer after the jump.
Earlier this weekend we showed off the new Minecraft and Back to the Future Lego sets. But Lego has released even more, including Batman, The Hobbit, and Star Wars materials. Take the jump for pics.
One of the bigger announcement for the Top Cow panel was a Darkness film being made by New Regency, Mandeville and Sketch Film. Part of the announcement for this included the inclusion of Witchblade and Angelus. Marc Silvestri stated that despite starting with the Darkness, they always kept heading towards Witchblade. Because there should be a cop, Sara Pezzini, chasing the criminal Jackie Estacado around. The film is apparently further into development than most announcement made like this as well. A new Darkness graphic novel is also to release this Novemenber, the David Keown cover is shown above.
Over the course of 24 days, people from Stan Winston Studios and Legacy Effects were able to build this 9’9″ robot in time for San Diego. Presented by WIRED, YouTube, Stan Winston Studios, Legacy Effects, and Conde Nast Entertainment. You can see just how impressive this mech is in two videos after the jump.
Marvel had a number of teaser images come out during the Diamond Retailer Lunch yesterday. Right now it’s mostly speculation but more information on each will be coming out over the weekend. For now, take the jump and see what was teased.
