Author: Stephen Schleicher

Stephen Schleicher began his career writing for the Digital Media Online community of sites, including Digital Producer and Creative Mac covering all aspects of the digital content creation industry. He then moved on to consumer technology, and began the Coolness Roundup podcast. A writing fool, Stephen has freelanced for Sci-Fi Channel's Technology Blog, and Gizmodo. Still longing for the good ol' days, Stephen launched Major Spoilers in July 2006, because he is a glutton for punishment. You can follow him on Twitter @MajorSpoilers and tell him your darkest secrets...

Inexpensive way to organize your collection –by Stephen Schleicher If you have a large number of comics you need to keep track of, but don’t have a lot of money to spend, check out ComicBase Express. This entry level program gives you access to titles and helps you organize your comic book collection. I’ve previously raved about the ComicBase Archive edition on this site, but I think the $250 price tag caused a lot of people to shy away – instead spending their valuable money on new issues and titles.

I’ve heard the rumors floating around that Iron Man/Tony Stark might be played by none other than Tom Cruise. Jon Favreau has posted a response to that over at his blog. I’ve never even met Tom Cruise, though I do think he is a great actor. He doesn’t seem to fit with what Marvel is looking for at this time, but you never know what will happen. The rumor is false as far as I know. Via Iron Man MySpace forum (link)

A guide to NE Kansas comic shops –by Stephen Schleicher I spent the weekend going to several comic book shops in the Kansas City, Lawrence, and Topeka areas. I scored quite a load of comics, filled many holes in my ever growing collection, and picked up a few extras along the way. There are some good shops, some bad shops, and a few really great shops for you to snag your favorite current and back issues.

Okay, so Aquaman has been around for quite some time – you know, he can talk to fishes and stuff, and was in that classic cartoon show from the 70s and 80s. But no one really gave the brotha any love. This left the underwater hero as the butt of many jokes. Most recently the television series “Entourage” has Vincent Chase (played by Adrian Grenier) staring in the James Cameron (played by James Cameron) directed movie which became a huge blockbuster in the show. So much so that it even prompted a real life ad in Variety. And let’s not…
