The Detroit News is still fanning the speculation that Aquaman may be resurrected from the depths of Davey Jones’ Locker. Fan and blog sites (like Major Spoilers) have been pushing the idea that the success of Aquaman on iTunes should convince the networks to reconsider the show. Marvel sent word to retailers yesterday that Civil War and related titles will be delayed. Civil War #4 which was to be in stores today has been pushed back to September 20th. Civil War #5 has been pushed to November 15th. The Hellboy Animated blog has some really great images from the upcoming Sword of Stones DVD. Producer Tad Stones has some great insight on the project, including lots of images. Stones says he thinks there could be three or four direct-to-dvd Hellboy movies each year. I think there’s plenty of room for three or four Hellboy movies a year.
