PrePro Hell is really ramping up now for the Captain America movie. Last week, Major Spoilers reported on Joe Johnston being hired to direct the film, and now Variety is reporting the writing duo of Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely have been hired by Marvel Studios to pen the screenplay.
The red-white-and-blue clad hero with the mighty indestructible shield came to prominence right after the invasion of Pearl Harbor as the U.S. declared war on Japan. The hero is the Marvel character most closely associated with the United States.
I’m sure this is going to be an epic story as the scribes have written both Chronicles of Narnia films, and the very well done The Life and Death of Peter Sellers movie for HBO Films.
