In 2025, Mad Cave Studios will release Far Down Below, a new six-issue thriller mini-series from Christopher Condon and Gege Schall.
In the summer of 1983, teen friends Mike and Brian seek escape from rainy day boredom by exploring Brian’s abandoned family home, a notoriously haunted house. What they find below their sleepy Eastern Pennsylvania suburb will unlock the doors to adventure—and danger.
“Far Down Below is a story that I’ve wanted to tell since high school. People grow old, but stories never do, so I’m incredibly excited to be tackling this long-gestating project with a phenomenal artist like Gegê Schall and our editor, Marla Eizik, at Mad Cave Studios,” said Chris Condon. “This story is both a personal look back at the highs and lows of being a teenager and an exciting, and sometimes scary, thrill ride down into the center of Eastern Pennsylvania. I hope Far Down Below connects with readers as it did with me nearly sixteen years ago when I dreamt up the idea.”
