One of our favorite artists, Francesco Francavilla has been tapped to create a series of connecting covers for Skybound Entertainment’s Universal Monsters: Frankenstein mini-series.
Universal Monsters: Frankenstein is written and illustrated by Michael Walsh.
In this first issue, Dr. Henry Frankenstein begins his unholy quest to create life by robbing the grave of a decorated police officer to find necessary parts, specifically a strong pair of hands. But little does he know that the corpse has a son who is mourning a father – and that this young boy will forever change Frankenstein’s life.
In addition to the main cover by Michael Walsh and the first of the four-part connecting cover series by Francesco Francavilla, Universal Monsters: Frankenstein #1 boasts a variant cover lineup from top artists including Joshua Middleton, David Talaski and Christian Ward, as well as a blank sketch cover.
