As the release date for Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch draws ever near, the marketing engine is cranking up ever more, releasing a new set of character posters for the movie.
A young girl is institutionalized by her wicked stepfather. Retreating to an alternative reality as a coping strategy, she envisions a plan which will help her escape from the facility.
Sucker Punch stars Emily Browning (Baby Doll), Abbie Cornish (Sweet Pea), Jena Malone (Rocket), Vanessa Hudgens (Blondie), and Jamie Chung (Amber) and arrives in theaters on March 25, 2011.

So many movies of interest this year (for me). Sucker Punch isn’t on my “must see” list but it’s awful close.
But how can I say no to all that eye candy (action, visuals etc) and the fact that it’s an action movie with female leads. A rarity.
love the font… maybe I’m getting old but it excites me when a unique and evocative font is created for a film. Who knows about the actual film? It’s got mini-gun wielding samurai war-golems; is this where Joe Madureira has been all this time?
Movie was visually awesome but could have done with losing one layer of delusion. That’s the quickest sum up I can make.
