Dark Horse Comics is getting the crew of Serenity together again in a new series that will debut in October.
Chris Roberson and Georges Jeanty join forces for Serenity: No Power.
Serenity: No Power in the ’Verse finds Malcolm Reynolds and his crew struggling through some difficult times. Tensions are at an all-time high when the crew receives a call to help find a missing friend. The crew must come together to discover the answers to her mysterious disappearance. Will they find her in time?
Chris Roberson, the mind behind iZombie, is pretty excited about the six-issue mini-series. “I’ve been a devoted fan of Captain Reynolds and company since the first episode of Firefly aired, and have followed the exploits of the Serenity crew through TV, film, and comics ever since. It’s an unbelievable thrill (and an enormous responsibility!) to help chart the course for their further adventures.”
Serenity: No Power lands in stores on October 28, 2016.
If you are at the San Diego Comic Con, be on the lookout for Roberson who will sign at the Dark Horse booth on Thursday, July 21st from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM, and on Sunday, July 24th from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM.
Serenity creator Joss Whedon will host two signings on Saturday, July 23 on Dark Horse’s Hellboy signing stage. His first signing is from 5 p.m. to 5:50 p.m. His second signing is from 6 p.m. to 6:50 p.m. Firefly and Serenity cast members Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk will join Joss at this signing.
