When it comes to a big battle, the sword might be the deadliest of all weapons. We’ve seen heroes and villains wield swords of all shapes and sizes, and the opponent always ends up losing a few things during the encounter.
But, who is the best sword wielder?

The Highlander has had centuries to hone his skills, but Deathstroke is the Terminator. I’m voting Slade Wilson bc he is boss.
With the choice given, I vote Slade Wilson.
HOWEVER if the Choice was between Slade and DUNCAN MacLeod, then Duncan would clean up without question! :)
I’m going with Connor for one simple reason: He doesn’t need all the fancy-schmancy gimmicks and gadgets Slade uses. Sure, he’s got immortality, but his actual skills with the blade were honed over centuries. Being immortal didn’t automatically make one a good swordsman, they still have to work at it.
Slade would definitely give Connor a fight for the ages, and come close to taking his head more than once, but I still think Connor would be the victor in the end.
Deathstroke is deadly with the sword because he has a gun to back it up.
The Highlander only needs the sword. It has to be MacLeod, because there can be only one.
Gotta go with MacLeod. He has spent centuries beating the greatest swordsmen in the world. Slade is strong and quick, but no match for the Highlander!
MacLeod has centuries of training and experience, plus all the knowledge he absorbed from his defeated foes in the quickening.
This is such a hard choice. Sure MacLeod has lived longer and thus has had more time to practice, but Slade has probably killed more people. Macleod has only killed when he had to, whereas it’s Slade’s job. So although Macleod is in all likelihood wiser and a better warrior overall, I think Slade is far more deadly.
Deathstroke uses 90% of his brain.
Connor uses an Scottish Spaniard.
Advantage: Slade.
Macleod. 1) Centuries of experience surviving by the sword. 2) Specialist rule applies, he just uses a sword, while Deathstroke will try to use more.
The Highlander comes out ahead.

If it were a question of who would win in a fight the answer would be Slade, Slade, a thousand times Slade. But since the question is specifically which is the better swordsman, the answer is Conner due partially to all the extra time from being immortal but mostly due to the fact that all that time was dedicated to learning nothing but swordplay (as far as combat goes).
I love Highlander and think that Conner would do a great job of keeping Slade at bay. That said Slade is way more determined than Conner is, especially if he is being portrayed at the time Duncan comes around. Conner is still a master swordsman, but Deathstroke, being a villain would probably cheat his way into taking Conner’s head. If Slade had all weapons but his sword removed then Conner would probably win. So I voted Deathstroke, mostly because he’s a cheating jerk.
