Damn! Just when you thought you had all of the Avengers: Age of Ultron sets out there, including all the Minifigures included for free when spending money at the Lego Store, the toy company goes ahead and puts a new set within our grasp but ultimately out of reach.
The set in question is the Throne of Ultron, which will be the show exclusive from LEGO at the San Diego Comic-Con next month. With 203 pieces to it, including Ultron, and three Ultron agents, the set will set you back $39.99. Of course if LEGO doesn’t offer this for sale after the show (which it won’t) expect to see the price sore when it hits eBay moments after going on sale on the show floor. Why do I expect this set to never make it out to the retail stores? In years past, LEGO has released exclusive Minifigures which are a hot commodity today (Shazam! anyone?).
Speaking of minifigures, LEGO will also exclusives to the show, though we don’t know which characters will be available at this time.
So, if you are going to San Diego next month, and want to make it to the top of the Major Spoilers Ultimate Fan list, you know what to do… GO!
