I am super super super excited to see the Daredevil series on Netflix. If done right, it could be a while new (and possibly better) way of telling comic book tales for the small screen. Marvel and Netflix appear to be on the right track with the first image of Vincent D’Onofrio as The Kingpin.
This Fisk isn’t quite the Kingpin of crime from Marvel Comics lore, in looks or demeanor. Yet executive producer Steven DeKnight says Daredevil is as much an origin story of a complex antagonist as it is a portrait of do-gooder lawyer Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and his masked secret identity.
April 10th can’t get here soon enough!
