Someone said clothing is not a present, and while we could argue the semantics and arguments for and against that claim when it pertains to underwear and socks, the Green Lantern Costume Hoodie is an excellent gift for those who want to cosplay, without actually cosplaying. The hoodie features a mask that covers the top half of the face, and looking at the full pullover, it actually looks like a pretty cool uniform that might work in one of those 52 Earths currently featured in the DC Multiverse. There’s still time to order the hoodie for the holidays and it will only set you back $49.99. This definitely falls in the ME WANT! Category.

Where I live if you have a hoody and a mask on you get arrested…
I really want this!!
This is cool and all, but the Flash costume Hoodie in my opinion is much, much cooler. It’s even got the wing-ears on the hood!
Yeah, because nothing says cool like wing ears…
I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not, so I’ll just unironically agree with you.
I’ll agree with you on this; the Flash hoodie (http://www.stylinonline.com/hoodie-flash-costume.html) is truly costume-specific, whereas the GL hoodie suffers from a), not having the black side cutouts Gil Kane devised the suit with (which would also be rather slimming as well; a feature likely helpful to many of our comics-fan brethren), and b), having the pullover part of the hoodie not be similar to GL’s actual, non-cowled costume.
For this reason, the Flash and Batman hoodies are the closest to the costume ideal–and even the Bats hoodie suffers from the fact that the detachable cape is not integrated into the base of the hood-slash-cowl.
… none of which takes away from the fact that these are, at heart, “OVERoos” …
I’d get it, but there’s none in the big boy sizes.
Own it! And there are definitely big people sizes
Yes, why don’t they have XL or XXL?
Probably not financially feasible…
My wife saw a variation of this at Wal-Mart for $7.
