Press Release
Soda Vicious is launching the new action/humor comic book, Junk Food Fighter at ComiCONN, August 15-17, 2014 at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, CT. This is the 1st issue in a series of self-contained single issue one shots that explore the concept, characters and their world.
About Junk Food Fighter:
Ex-stuntman Dare Phoenix, having spent several wild years out in Hollywood, returns to his childhood home of Midway City. He arrives to find it infested by indulgence and excess through eateries and shops operated by mad cartels of evil and monstrous junk food creatures. By an odd chain of events, Dare finds himself pulled into the fray. Fiercely battling these forces by any means possible, the city begins looking to Dare as an inspiration for both young and old to change their lives for the better. Not that everyone agrees… or even notices, for that matter.
But Dare doesn’t really care all that much about being a role-model. Whether pummeling pie monsters, racing over 100 mph in pursuit of soda pop mercenaries, or drop kicking giant mutated hot dogs, he just likes playing the role as Junk Food Fighter… maybe a little too much!
