Looks like David Goyer has a lot of fingers in a lot of pots. Variety is reporting the author/screenwriter/director has been signed to direct Baltimore, or the Steadfast Tin Soldier and the Vampire, based on a graphic novel by Mike Mignola and Christopher Golden.
Just-published by Bantam, the graphic novel tells the story of the awakening of supreme evil on Earth. Lord Henry Baltimore is bitten by a demonic vampire bat on a WWI battlefield. The plague destroys his family, and Baltimore creates a team to hunt and fight the Red King, the embodiment of all evil.
Goyer is still set to direct the X-Men origin flick Magneto. The screenplay will be written by Mignola and Golden. There is no word on an expected release date for Baltimore.
