NOT an easy choice, I want to vote for all of them. But Composite Superman because I really really love the costume.
Really a tough call wish we coould vote 1st 2nd and third. Good stuff this year all around
This was really a tough call. As someone who makes costumes for fun, I can see a lot of work went in to these and they are all visually amazing.
All are awesome, but I’ve got to go with Strange!
All awesome, but I went with Ultron.
I voted Ultron. While Strange is really cool and spot on i have to honor the metal men that i allways love seeing.
If there is any part of these that was not scratch made, they should be disqualified. I love them all hugely and if they could tell me their story, it would be what breaks the all-way tie going on in my head right now.
I would love to hear how the contestants chose and designed their costumes.
Also, how did the Major Spoilers staff narrow down the so many great costumes to 5? What where their criteria?
Just like you, “Pick your favorite”
What I like most about this year’s crop is just how MUCH like the characters the people themselves look–the body language on Composite Superman and Doctor Strange….
If anyone wants to check out more about Doctor Strange I’ve got some info and more pictures up about our Doctor Strange and Clea duo here: http://www.twinklebat.net/dr-strange-and-clea/
Go, Hobgoblin, go!
This entry brings three big criteria to the table: good makeup, good costume design and good showmanship.
They are all pretty good, but Robin is perfect. Better than any Robin in movies or any other cosplayers I’ve seen.
Thank you!
I vote for Hobo, no idea why but there’s something there that makes me wanna say “yup, that the Hobgoblin alright”.
All are great. I would be okay with any winning…but I might have to go for Hobgoblin because it is just so damn creepy
Dr Strange all the way have to say. No major makeup just a “simpler” costume and some hair and he makes this come alive through true acting. Love that.
….and I second getting backstory on the choices of the costumes or even the people.
5 way tie!?!
Each has their own fantastic talent.
But, any guy that can “work-out” and read comics… gimme a Composite Superman!
Ya don’t see one of those every day.
I voted for Ultron, because I thought that took a lot of effort to put together that outift. Composite Superman was good, but Ultron just looked like the character so much it beats the rest.
I picked Ultron, because I like the detail of the shiney red lights in his mouth. I’m easily distracted by shiny things.
I love Composite Superman! My favorite.
Hi everyone! Ultron and I thank you for your support. Here is a link to show how I built the armor. The concept for this version of Ultron was , what if Hank Pym used out dated Iron Man armor to create Ultron. That’s why you can see a little iron man mark VI, the silver centurion and ultron 5 mixed together. This is yhe first set of armor i have built, and It took me 4 to five hours a day for three months to build.

I really like Robin contestant. Not only is his outfit more genuine than the movie versions, the boy wearing it is really cute. :)
Went with Composite Superman due to it’s originality
Ugh this gets harder every year!!!!
(This is a good thing)
If anyone is interested in Superhero Costuming themselves, please feel free to check out http://www.thesuperherocostumingforum.com ~ all 5 of this year’s finalists are members (and all 5 of last year’s finalists too!). Hobgoblin. In The future Spiderman movies, The directors and Creators should take note on what the Hobgoblin looks like. Perfect!
Looks to me like more work went into making Ultron and it looks the coolest too so it gets my vote! You can tell, that a few of these might have been made by someone other than the wearer.
