According to Deadline, DC’s Deadman is headed to the small screen.
The project is about the spirit of a murdered man, Boston Brand, who lives on as he inhabits other people’s bodies and helps them solve crises in their own lives.
With Smallville off the air, it’s understandable that The CW and Warner Bros. TV is scrambling to find a superhero franchise to replace the ten-season long show. But Deadman? Surely they could have found something like Teen Titans, Nightwing, or Birds of Prey… okay, so maybe not that last one…
With Supernatural still a big hit (going into its seventh season), Deadman might actually be a natural fit for the network.

Good that he is getting some type of exposure. I like Deadman. I became a recent fan of his because of Brightest Day but i’ve even considered buying his Strange Adventures story(origin)
I became interested in him because I saw he was going to be in Justice League Dark. So I’ve been picking up his flashpoint arc (interesting, not great) on my “I have an iPad.” I also picked up a 4 part series of his from the 80s. I dug it.
The costume is a bit much for TV though. :D
Thought they already did that in Quantum Leap although lead character was alive when he leaped into the lives of people that had a crises to solve…
