Michael and I talk about this timely original graphic novel from him, Alex Segura, and Dean Kotz. The series is described this way: “The Awakened is a character-driven superhero epic in the vein of The Golden Age, Supreme Power, Black Hammer, and Astro City! It is collected here in trade paperback format for the first time!” We discuss how this book came to be, what else Michael is working on, and the importance of this story for today’s world.
