Skybound Entertainment already has G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero, the ongoing adventures of the JOE team by Larry Hama, but that series is in its own universe, and Skybound has the Energon Universe that needs a military team, which means we’re getting G.I. JOE in November!
The new G.I. JOE ongoing series will be written by Joshua Williamson, with art by Tom Reilly. If you’ve been reading books like Cobra Commander, Destro, Duke, and Scarlett, you kind of know what to expect, but just in case, here is how Skybound Entertainment describes the new series:
