Magic and monsters collide in Reversal, an urban-fantasy graphic novel from Alex de Campi and Skylar Patridge at Dark Horse Comics.
Here is the description of the OGN from Dark Horse Comics:
Two years ago, magic suddenly and violently became a thing again when the Earth’s ley lines reversed. Now, Tré Grant is just doing her best to survive sixth grade, which is a little more literal than it used to be, thanks to the monsters that regularly emerge from the nearby forest to attack her city. But when she discovers a magical artifact that could be the key to lifting the curse on the forest, Tré accidentally becomes the hero the city needs, even if she’s not the one it expects.
“REVERSAL is my love song to the Japanese urban fantasy manga that got me back into comics,” de Campi said in a press release from Dark Horse Comics. “There’s high adventure and there’s comedy, but it’s wrapped around ‘slice of life’ and meaningful, deep emotional character arcs as Tré and her family navigate monsters, magic, metamorphosis–and middle school.”
Reversal is 296 pages and will arrive in stores on March 19, 2025, with a cover price of $24.99.
