Papercutz announced the team of Art Baltazar and Franco Aureliani are teaming to bring a children’s adaptation of the Flash Gordon Universe to young readers.
Join Flash Gordon, Dale Arden, Dr. Zarkov and their allies from Mongo as they battle the evil tyrant, Ming the Merciless. Readers will be thrilled by Flash Gordon and his friend’s zany adventures, while enjoying valuable, but humorous life lessons learned about friendship, teamwork, and how alien-world gravity affects the digestive system, why a lizard machine is important for making new lizards and why Zarkov develops a way to make fake beards for Ming to wear.
Fans of Ah Yeah Comics! are probably going to get a kick out of this series (even if it is target to young readers). I know the character designs above have me wanting a poster of this to hang on the wall of my office.
Flash Gordon Adventures will arrive in November 2024.
