Writer Cullen Bunn is returning to the world of The Deepest Catacombs with an all-new serialized story.
“When I finished releasing the initial run of THE DEEPEST CATACOMBS,” said Bunn in a press release sent to Major Spoilers, “I knew I would return to that world. I just loved the characters and the nostalgia, the magic and the monsters. And I loved working with so many talented artists! This was, of course, a labor of love, so it has taken me a bit of time to get the ball rolling again, but the story is going to be a ton of fun!”
The new story features returning characters—Randall, Annalynn, Kezira, Chops, and Fingerbones—delving into a frozen, haunted castle filled with wyverns, draugr, ghosts, dragons, and vampires!
“At the end of the last series,” continued Bunn, “we saw a strange reptilian wyvern and undead rider in the sky. This story picks up where we left off. Our heroes will be adventuring into a dark, icy fortress. The setting is absolutely inspired by my love of old D&D modules like RAVENLOFT and CASTLE AMBER.”
