Maverick, the young adult imprint of Mad Cave Studios, has teamed with 41 Entertainment to adapt the ’90s King Arthur and the Knights of Justice cartoon series into a comic book.
The classic 90’s cartoon returns in a new graphic novel! This new take on the 90s cartoon asks: what if the knights of the round table were actually a modern football team transported back in time? Quarterback Arthur King and his football team have been transported back to the time of Arthurian legend in order to free the real King Arthur and the real Knights of the Round Table from the evil Morgana.
King Arthur and the Knights of Justice is written by Joe Corallo with art by Gaia Cardinali.
In a press release, Joe Corallo said, “King Arthur & the Knights of Justice was a show I watched as a kid and had revisited a number of times since, so it was an absolute thrill to not only hear that they were looking to reboot the series, but I’d be getting to write it as well. Plus, it was a great excuse to rewatch it again!”
King Arthur and the Knights of Justice has a $14.99 cover price and will arrive on March 12, 2024.
